The Staging Room story

Founded in 2020 by Rachel McGarva, The Staging Room was born from a passion for crafting captivating spaces.

As the company quickly grew in popularity a growth phase was initiated.

Rachel’s sister, Jane Asbury came aboard, using her background in fashion design to become a talented stylist.

Aaron McGarva, an experienced business owner and Rachel’s husband was next, taking on the role of logistics.

It’s no surprise the family-owned and operated company now experiences a widespread demand for their unique styling.

The Staging Room services Tauranga, Mount Maunganui and Papamoa, bringing both new and old homes to the next level.

An artistic touch

Property stylist and The Staging Room creator Rachel McGarva’s upbringing was saturated in the arts leading to an interest in creating beautiful homes.

Rachel has renovated and staged many properties over the years and has designed and landscaped stunning gardens. Rachel’s property has been featured in garden and arts festivals and has been showcased in several magazines.
